Scammed

I just got my very first scam call! A woman called and said that she was from a collection agency, and was collecting a debt from my old bank. She said that I own $372 to my old bank. Hmmm...

I told her to stop calling me and immediately called the bank. The woman from the bank said that no, I don't owe fees (I knew that) and that they have been getting a lot of calls about this scam lately. She recommended that I call the phone company and block the number. The calls are coming to my cell phone, so I called T-Mobile. They can not block calls and suggested that I call the police. He said that one call from the police is usually enough to get them to stop.

If she calls back I am going to call the police and ask them to give the number a quick call. I'm not sure if they will, but it is worth a try.
